Parents of the Suvorov cadets infected with echinococcosis are suspected of the Ministry of Defense of concealing facts

The military investigative department of the RF IC for the Ulyanovsk garrison opened a criminal case in connection with the outbreak of echinococcosis among students of the Ulyanovsk Guards Suvorov Military School. The diagnosis is confirmed in 26 pupils. The causative agents of the disease are larvae of one of the types of string worms-parasites. A criminal case was instituted by violation of the sanitary and epidemiological rules that entailed mass disease of people (part 1 of article 236 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). The Russian Ministry of Defense hastened to reject the food version of infection.

The application to the Investigative Committee of Russia was classified by the Ulyanovsk State Duma deputy Alexei Kurin, who was addressed by the parents of cadets who believe that the leadership of the educational institution hides both the true number of sick and the source of infection. Experienced epidemiologists say that the causative agent was most likely to enter the body of the boys through the dining room during an organized meal. Other versions are also considered, for example, the consumption of unwashed berries during summer field exercises.

Echinococcosis is a variety of helminthic invasion, the causative agent of which are echinococci belonging to a group of tape worms. In Russia, this disease is most often found in the Volga region, Western Siberia, the Krasnodar region, in the Far East. The development of pathology is closely related to the breeding of livestock and other pets. Echinococcosis is an extremely dangerous disease that occurs with damage to the internal organs (liver, lungs, heart, brain).

To find the source of infection, there is a long investigation. This is a feature: echinococcosis develops without symptoms for a long time, the incubation period lasts from several weeks to several years. A commission of the Ministry of Defense works at the school. She has yet to find the causes of infection, but the military department has already decided everything for herself. On February 6, the head of the Main Military Medical Department, MO Dmitry Trishkin, said: "Due to the long incubation period, it is difficult to establish a source of the disease." And then he concluded: “The commission excludes the version of infection through food in the dining room of the school. Not a single employee of the dining room has detected a disease. The source of infection is infected dogs ... "

At the end of January, with planned fluorography, five pupils of the Ulyanovsk IEVI revealed the initial stage of echinococcosis. They began to check everyone without exception, examined more than 600 people, and the 26 Suvorovites in the liver, lungs, spleen found the so -called parasitic cysts (rounded, fluid -filled tumor formations that the Echinococcus larva creates around themselves). All sick people take anthelmintic drugs, but then many then may need a surgical surgery to remove cysts.

“There is no threat to the health of pupils of the Ulyanovsk IEV, as well as the spread of this disease among students of the school,” the Ministry of Defense reassures. “Pupils receive the necessary drug treatment in full, outpatiently.” But parents studied what echinococcosis is.

Some parents admit that they intentionally poisoned food at the school, and even believe that an American military with its biological weapons is involved in this. Rumors do not subside that among the sick there are officers, teachers of the school and one kitchen worker, although the authorities refute these rumors.

After Trishkin’s statement, the deputy Kurinin concluded that “the catering block of the school is completely clearly displayed from under the blow, and therefore the company that worked there. The same company feeds thousands of children and adults in the educational and healthcare institutions of Ulyanovsk. ” We are talking about the company "Trade House of the SPP", which until December 15, 2018 delivered food to the Suvorov School, that is, during the period of infection, the state contract acted. The company is one of the two monopolists for the supply of food to the budgetary institutions of Ulyanovsk and is part of the DARS group of companies, which is owned by a large businessman Dmitry Ryabov, close to the governor of the region Sergei Morozov.
