In the village of Stepanshino, Moscow Region, Maxim Chernykh, a protester against the waste incineration plant, was searched. Dmitry Gudkov's press secretary Alexey Obukhov reported this to OVD-Info.
During the search, FSB officers allegedly found two grenades in a woodpile near the Chernys’ house. Gudkov noted in his Telegram channel that at that moment there were no witnesses near them. “In order to get to the woodpile, FSB officers asked the owner of the house for a shovel, he went out to get it - and then everything was found,” the politician wrote.
Chernykh told Obukhov that the law enforcement officers had a search warrant with them. According to this document, the activist is a suspect in a case of illegal arms trafficking (Part 1 of Article 222 of the Criminal Code).
