A psychiatric examination established that Viktor Fedoseev, accused of violence against a police officer (part 1 of article 318 of the Criminal Code) at a protest on September 9, 2018, needs compulsory treatment in a hospital. This is stated in the telegram channel "Pravozashchita Postcards".
The report quotes from the expert opinion: “Fedoseev could not realize the actual nature and social danger of his actions and manage them. (...) Due to the possible deterioration of his mental state in a psychogenic situation for him, Fedoseev’s participation in judicial and investigative actions is inappropriate” .
On February 7, Pravozashchita Otkrytki wrote that the Tverskoy District Court of Moscow extended for two months the arrest of Fedoseev and Vasily Kostylev, also accused of assaulting a policeman during the September 9 protest.
Viktor Fedoseyev was arrested on September 11, 2018. The investigation believes that Fedoseyev hit the policeman, and cites screenshots of videos from the action as evidence.
Lawyer Sergei Badamshin, representing the interests of Fedoseev, noted that in the video his client "resisted" under the blows of batons. At the action on September 9, Fedoseev received a head injury, he also had bruises on his arms.
