Deputy Governor of Kuzbass is sure of the need to increase housing prices

Deputy Governor of the Kemerovo Region Gleb Orlov announced the need to increase the cost of housing. The official is sure that low prices create prerequisites for the construction of a poor -quality houses.

Orlov told reporters that housing in Kemerovo "should cost from 44–45 thousand rubles per square meter in the competitive market." Today, in the capital of Kuzbass, the cost for the “square” starts from 33 thousand rubles, which, according to the official, can contribute to the construction of punitive housing.

“You cannot drive the developers at a loss, builders pull another 46 industries. I have to build qualitatively, reliably, for years, ”Kommersant quotes Orlova.

Kemerovo authorities plan to increase the cost of a square meter of housing this year.

Taiga.info wrote that Gleb Orlov was appointed to the position of acting deputy governor for construction in July 2018.

Commenting on the appointment, the acting of the Kemerovo governor Sergei Tsivilev noted that the quality of life of people directly depends on the work of the construction sphere.
