
- In 2015, I worked as a volunteer at the Future of Biomedicine International Conference, this was my first serious meeting with the world of science. Scientists from different countries told what they were doing, why they chose this particular area, why their research is important. Someone devoted his life to the study of molecular mechanisms of carcinogenesis (tumor development), others-proteins associated with the development of cardiovascular diseases. I think that it was these hearts who are heart to heart that helped me to realize that biomedicine is what I would like to do all my life. It does not interact with people directly, but helps them and solves the eternal problems of mankind.
Now our team of the Center for Genomna and Regenerative Medicine FEFU is studying the antitumor activity of natural extracts, including from representatives of the flora and fauna of Primorye. Our region is famous for the huge biodiversity, it seems very promising to look for new antitumor substances here. Why this area? The fact is that oncological diseases are in second place due to the mortality of the population, and the fight against them is still difficult. It is necessary to look for new approaches for diagnosis and treatment, which we, in fact, do.
For 2019, our team planned comprehensive experiments on the study of the antitumor effect of natural extracts using the tumor cells specially created by us. They have a green glow, and when exposed to cells, a promising substance, the cell loses the ability to glow. Thus, the more non -flipping cells become after the action of the substance, the higher its antitumor potential.

- My interest and love of history grew throughout school at school. Without entering the military school, I decided to submit documents to the Far Eastern Federal University, to the direction of "History". In my first year, I met archeology in more detail and in -depth. University teachers with their achievements and stories about the field life of archaeologists have formed the image of science as a whole for me. After archaeological practice, I definitely decided for myself what I want to do.
In general, my research work is aimed at studying the adaptive strategies of the Popular Territory in the Paleomethal era. Now I am studying the economic and production specifics of the population of the Yankovo archaeological culture of the early iron (I millennium BC), based on the materials of the last security and rescue works of the expedition of the FEFU, the FEFU Monuments on the Turtle-7 and Solontsovaya-2 monuments.
The population of this culture was in transition. A person from the active use of stone tools passed to iron, gathering, hunting and fishing were preserved in his farm, but producing cattle breeding and agriculture gradually penetrated and developed. The material accumulated during excavations allows, during the analysis, how to supplement existing information on adaptive strategies and cultural ties of the Yankovo population, and find something new, previously unknown.
In the first half of 2019, I plan to participate in research trips to South Korea and China as part of Grant RFFI “Features of the peripheral centers of cultural and historical development of the Russian Far East, North-Eastern China and Korean Peninsula in the era of the early Paleometal (the second half-1 thousand BC)” under the guidance of the Associate Professor) ”, under the guidance of the Associate Professor) The Department of History and Archeology of the School of Arts and Humanities of the FEFU Alexander Popov. In addition, I plan to complete the comprehensive analysis of archaeological material in the framework of my scientific work based on the materials of the Turta-7 monument and tell about its results at the conferences of young scientists in the FEFU and other regions.

- Initially, I did not plan to engage in science. It was rather a successful combination of circumstances. She entered the direction of “Physics” by the FEFU, where each student is engaged in any scientific activity on the chosen topic of the thesis. I always liked experimental physics more, so I chose a topic related to the synthesis and study of the structure. So gradually joined the work.
Now the main direction of my work is the receipt of transparent ceramics of Ittri-aluminum grenade, alloyed by the neodymtic nD: yag. Functional characteristics of transparent materials (monocristals, glasses, ceramic) are largely determined by their microstructure, primarily the size of the residual porosity, which can take values from 0.0001 volumetric percent and higher. So low values are difficult for visualization and for counting. Therefore, we are developing the method of calculating the porosity of optical materials.
In 2019, I plan to participate in a profile international conference with an oral report. This year I finish the magistracy, therefore, in order to continue to engage in scientific activities, I will go to graduate school.
