The Arbitration Court of the Moscow Region rejected the claim of the shareholders of State Farm named after. The plaintiffs believed that the damage could have arisen due to the state farm’s contribution to the authorized capital of the TT Development company in 2008 of two land plots worth about 1.1 billion rubles. In 2018, this deal was declared illegal by arbitration courts of three instances, as well as by the Supreme Court. The deal was unprofitable for the state farm itself and indirectly for the shareholders, said the plaintiffs’ lawyer Artem Ignatenko.

Grudinin's representative indicated that the applicants had missed the statute of limitations. In addition, he said, they have no right to sue because they collectively own less than 1% of the state farm's shares. At one of the meetings, Grudinin’s representative stated that the state farm received profit, not damage, from transactions with plots. One of the plots was divided into two parts, one of which was sold to IKEA, for which the state farm received more than 1.1 billion rubles in 2016, he said.
