In Moscow, Left Resistance activists Daria Polyudova and Kirill Kotov, as well as Yegor Gudkov, who stood in single pickets on Pushkin Square, were detained. An activist of the SERB movement, who refused to give his name, was detained along with them. Daria Polyudova reported this.
OVD-InfoAs Polyudova said, after the “March of Mother’s Wrath” they went to Pushkinskaya Square, where they began to hold the “They got it” action. Polyudova and Gudkov were standing in single pickets when an activist of the SERB movement began to approach them and take away their posters. Kirill Kotov tried to stop the provocateur, and then all four were detained. Polyudova had a poster with the inscription “The authorities are responsible for terrorist attacks and explosions”, Gudkov had a poster - “They promised to lift you from your knees, but they put you on a bottle.”
After that, civil activists and members of Bessrochka Maria Gribenyuk, Anna Inyutina, Alexey Elagin, Pyotr Ablin, Dmitry Samoilov and Viktor Kapitonov were taken into the paddy wagon. All detainees were taken to the police department in the Meshchansky district.
Six people who were detained later were taken to the Meshchansky police station. Daria Polyudova, Kirill Kotov, Egor Gudkov and the provocateur from SERB remain in the paddy wagon for now; they will probably be taken to another police department.
UPD 17:30 Daria Polyudova reported that she, together with Kirill Kotov, Yegor Gudkov and a provocateur from SERB - presumably Alexander Petrunko - were taken to the police department in the Basmanny district.
UPD 18:00 OVD-InfoSix Six detainees who were taken to the police station in the Meshchansky district should be released after a conversation, said Pyotr Ablin. He is going to write a petition for admission to the department for his defense lawyer, but the police are not yet allowing him to do this. Anri Tsiskarishvili, a defender from Open Russia, was allowed into the police department in the Basmanny district, where the other four detainees were taken. Yegor Gudkov reported that the police are threatening activists with arrest clauses.
UPD 18:48 OVD-Info
OVD-Info A protocol is drawn up against Daria Polyudova under Part 8 of Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (repeated violation of the rules for holding an event); she may be left overnight at the OVD. This was reported by municipal deputy Viktor Kotov, who came to the department to see the detainees.
UPD 19:40 OVD-InfoIn addition, Kirill Kotov was fined 500 rubles under the article on petty hooliganism (Part 1 of Article 20.1 of the Administrative Code) of the conflict that he had with the provocateur from SERB Alexander Petrunko before his arrest. He has already been released. Petrunko himself was also released after a conversation. A report was drawn up against Yegor Gudkov under Part 5 of Article 20.2 of the Administrative Code (violation of the rules of the event by a participant) and was also released.
Because of this, all the detainees were released from the Meshchansky police station; before that, preventive conversations were held with them.
UPD 20:20 The news has been corrected with an update regarding the preparation of protocols against Yegor Gudkov and Kirill Kotov.
