Zelfira Tregulova, general director of the Tretyakov Gallery, has been reprimanded for stealing a painting by artist Arkhip Kuindzhi.
According to experts, RBC quotes a message from the Ministry of Culture, the theft occurred "as a result of the uncoordinated actions of the museum's structural divisions."
The Ministry of Culture recommends that disciplinary sanctions be applied to some museum employees, for example, to dismiss the head of the security service.
The reprimand was announced “for violations of the current “Instructions for Accounting and Storage of Museum Treasures” and the order of the Ministry of Culture “On approval of standard requirements for engineering and technical reinforcement and equipment with technical means of protection of cultural institutions located in buildings - monuments of history and culture.”
