The Krasnoselsky court of St. Petersburg fined activist Maria Kozhevatova 250,000 rubles, who was detained earlier during the March of Mother's Wrath. According to Fontanka , Kozhevatova was found guilty of repeated participation in an uncoordinated action. In July 2018, she already spent 15 days in a special detention center after being detained near the court building with the flag of Ukraine.
"March of maternal anger" was held in St. Petersburg on February 10. The action was not approved by the authorities. Its participants came out in support of Anastasia Shevchenko, an activist of Open Russia, against whom a criminal case has been initiated for carrying out the activities of an organization recognized as undesirable in Russia. She is under house arrest.
