The Investigative Committee opened a criminal case against architects of Rostov and the Rostov region

The chief architect of the Rostov region, Alexei Polyansky, the chief architect of Rostov-on-Don, Roman Ilyugin, and the chief architect of the administration of the Martynovsky district of the region, Alexander Korchiga, are suspected of exceeding their official powers. A criminal case has been initiated.

“According to the investigation, these officials illegally issued and extended permits for the construction of multi-apartment residential buildings, which led to serious consequences in the form of violation of the rights of more than 60 participants in shared construction, whose funds were stolen,” the UK reported .

The suspects have been detained.
