Investigators from the Moscow region opened a criminal case into the murder of a visitor to one of the restaurants in Sergiev Posad. The director of a catering establishment, who stood up for the waitress, is suspected of committing this crime.
“On February 9, 2019, in the premises of a restaurant located in Khotkovsky Proezd in the city of Sergiev Posad, the body of a 37-year-old man was found with a gunshot wound to the head,” reports the official website of the Moscow Region Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation. Employees of the department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the city of Sergiev Posad opened a criminal case on the grounds of a crime under Part 1 of Art. 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (murder).
Within a few days, it was possible to identify the suspect and detain him. He turned out to be a 34-year-old restaurant director.
It was previously established that there was a conflict between the restaurant director and a 37-year-old visitor. During the quarrel, the suspected restaurateur “fired one shot from his traumatic pistol at his opponent’s head.” The victim died from a gunshot wound at the scene.
“During the interrogation, the suspect informed the investigator about all the circumstances and reasons for the crime he committed. In the near future, the investigation will decide on the choice of a preventive measure against him in the form of detention,” the press release said.
A photograph of the detained owner of the Barskoe Zastole restaurant was published by Telegram channel 112 . “Anton Dmitrienko stood up for the waitress, who had been pestered by local resident Pyotr Kirchenko all evening. The owner of the restaurant took out an injury and hit the offender with it, after which an accidental shot occurred. The visitor fell to the floor and died on the spot,” the report says.
On the night of February 13, Dmitrienko came to the police and filed a confession.
