The Yaroslavl Regional Court upheld a six-year term of administrative supervision for Ruslan Vakhapov, the coordinator of the local branch of Rus Sitting and a former prisoner of IK-1. This is stated on the Facebook page of the Public Verdict Foundation.
The decision on supervision has entered into force. The foundation's lawyer, Irina Biryukova, who represents Vakhapov's interests, said she would appeal the decision to the Constitutional Court and the ECtHR.
“The only changes in the supervisory procedure are that Vakhapov was allowed to live not at the place of permanent registration, visit catering places and spend the night in any room, having warned the inspector in advance. Vakhapov must still check in four times a week, ”the employees of the Public Verdict report.
