The Spanish government has formally approved the decision to exhume the body of dictator Francisco Franco from the memorial complex in the Valley of the Fallen .
Franco's family has been given 15 days to choose a new burial site, or the government will choose one itself.
The dictator's descendants, who are strongly opposed to his reburial, are expected to challenge the decision in the Supreme Court. According to El Pais, the government may try to exhume the remains before the court's decision.
