Novosibirsk: The police chief was accused of receiving bribes to dinners

In Novosibirsk, the head of the district police department of Alexander Grashchenkov was accused of receiving bribes with food. He was previously arrested and sent to a pre -trial detention center. According to the television program "Precedent", employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs did not draw up protocols on administrative offenses for two businessmen who rented land plots, but occupied them, exceeding the maximum area. Documents about this were also not transferred to their regional department of Rosreestr. In return, the police chief received free dinners in a cafe owned by entrepreneurs. The case was opened under the article "receiving a bribe."

The published copy of the decision to initiate a criminal case says that Grashchenkov received food from October 26, 2015 to September 20, 2018. Entrepreneurs also brought him products to the police department. The total amount of the bribe is estimated at more than 180 thousand rubles.

The former head of the police department Grashchenkov was already tried for organizing an illegal registration of a foreign citizen and abuse of authority, Taiga.info reports . In 2018, he was assigned a lawsuit of 130 thousand rubles, after which he was dismissed from the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
