City Hall of Gorno-Altaysk did not allow a rally of memory of Nemtsov

The administration of Gorno-Altaysk refused the activist of the Altai Republican branch of the PARNAS PARNAS PARNAS Pavel Smirnov in the holding on the site of the monument to Choros-Gurkin's rally memory of Boris Nemtsov. The activist informed the correspondent "Siberia. Reali" about this.

According to Smirnov, the reason for the refusal was the presence of a medical institution nearby - a branch of the Republican Perinatal Center. “But in 2017, we held a rally at this place, and then the city authorities did not see the threat of patients,” Smirnov told the correspondent of Siberia. The city hall of Gorno-Altaysk replied that the rally is not prohibited, and the organizers were offered another place to conduct it. According to the activist, this is the new place proposed in the city hall - the outskirts of the city park, in fact, a forest where even vacationers come to the citizens not so often. “We will still try to change the venue,” said Pavel Smirnov.

The area near the Choros-Gurkin monument in Gorno-Altaysk is regularly used by various opposition organizations to conduct various events of public and political associations-so, in different years, shares of activists of the Communist Party and LDPR, as well as Open Russia, took place .
