Natalya Podolyak is a teacher at the Department of Physical Education at Siberian Federal University. She said that at the protest she touched one of the policemen with her foot to attract his attention - the detainee, who was being dragged by the law enforcement officer, lost consciousness.
The woman connects the persecution with her political activity: she ran for the Legislative Assembly of the region and for the post of head of Krasnoyarsk, and was also a confidant of Russian presidential candidate Vladimir Zhirinovsky.
