The possible introduction of drones on common routes is reported in the passport of the National Project " Safe and high -quality roads " , published by the Government of the Russian Federation. According to the plan, this fall, the concept of road safety is adapted taking into account unmanned vehicles, by the end of next year, technologies will be developed that will make their movement possible, and after a year the relevant laws will be taken and the first 27 areas in which cars without a driver will move. By the end of 2024, the number of such sites will increase to 55.
The very first cars can appear on the roads in the spring of 2019, in test mode. In December, Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev signed the corresponding resolution. It was prepared by the working group of the National Technological Initiative (NTI) "Autonet", automakers, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the FSUE "NAM " and "Yandex " . The experiment will be conducted on the roads of Moscow and Tatarstan, it will last until the spring of 2022 and is designed to confirm that the use of drones on public roads is possible. In the process, technical requirements for them will be developed, which will subsequently help to draw up a regulation. During the experiment, such cars will receive a special sign that implies “autonomous driving” - the letter “A”.

Earlier it was reported that the company Uber plans to integrate autonomous technologies into electric scooters and bicycles. Unmanned vehicles will be able to independently charge or get to the user renting them. Uber has already begun to search for a new team of specialists in the field of sensory and robotics technologies. At the same time, the company will continue to work on unmanned vehicles.
