According to investigators, in September 2017, at a military training ground in the Leningrad region, during tank firing, the defendants, neglecting safety measures, placed four conscript soldiers in the direct fire sector.
As a result of a shell shot, 20-year-old private Andrei Vittikh died at the scene. Three more soldiers suffered serious harm to their health - penetrating wounds, fractures, limb separation, massive blood loss and severe traumatic shock.
The defendants admitted guilt, apologized to the victims and partially compensated for the moral damage caused.
