St. Petersburg activist of "Open Russia" was arrested for three days for the "March of Mother's Wrath"

The Krasnoselsky District Court of St. Petersburg sentenced Open Russia activist Dmitry Skurikhin to three days of administrative arrest for holding the “March of Mother’s Wrath” without filing a notice (Part 2 of Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offences), Aleksey Pryanishnikov, coordinator of the “Human Rights Postcard”, told Mediazona.

Skurikhin was detained on the morning of February 22 while leaving his house in the Leningrad region and taken first to the 74th police department of St. Petersburg, and then to court. As reported in the telegram channel “Open Russia in St. Petersburg,” the meeting took place without a defense lawyer, and Kurikhin himself was in handcuffs.

On February 10, during the “March of Mother's Wrath,” Skurikhin, who was carrying a flag and shouting slogans, was detained, but managed to escape from a police car.
