The information that the flight was made under the open sky was confirmed in an interview with the Voice of America radio station Pentagon, Jamie Davis. According to him, the current flight of the Russian territory by the US military was the first since November 2017. Davis said that a long break was caused by tension, which arose in the relations of the two countries. According to Jamie Davis, the Russian authorities were notified of flight. He also added that there were six observers on board the reconnaissance aircraft.
