At the metro, activists handed out posters with photographs of Boris Nemtsov and slogans “Heroes do not die” to those who wanted to do.

For the first time in many years, the action united all parties and groups of democratic opposition. Ahead of the flags and a huge stretch of Nemtsov’s memory came representatives of solidarity (the movement of Nemtsov himself), then there were columns with the symbols of “Open Russia”, “Apple” and “Parnas”, whose co -chairman of which was Nemtsov in the last years of life.

In the center of the movement were anti -fascists and anarchists. A small group of young nationalists moved right behind them. It stood out greatly from the total mass. Unlike other participants who chanted most often “our name is Boris Nemtsov,” these demonstrators shouted “Russians forward!”, “Russian order on Russian land”. Walking nearby commented on their "chants": "Nemtsov was actually a Jew." But the screamers did not react.

The nationalists followed the Navalny column, which mainly went under Russian flags. Ahead of Aleksey and Oleg Navalny walked ahead, politicians of their unregistered “Party of Progress” moved nearby. They shouted more radical slogans, many denounced personally by Vladimir Putin (for example, “two three times, Putin, go away”). Another topic of their speeches was power in the Caucasus: they demanded “Kadyrov resigned”. Activists of this column launched a poster with a portrait of Che Guevara. "We do not want revolution!" - I protested loudly, looking at the poster, an elderly participant. “Putin to the bunks,” the Navalny group answered her.

There was a column, walking under the slogans of an unlimited protest. It took mainly students who shouted loudly “We are the name of Boris Nemtsov” and other slogans dedicated to the murdered oppositionist.

There was no rally after the completion of the procession, although some of the organizers, as NT found out, performed for this. The rally was proposed, in particular, Dmitry Gudkov, the leader of the “Party of Changes” (which did not receive registration under this name), and the chairman of the “Parnasa” Mikhail Kasyanov. But Aleksey initial and Ilya Yashin, who did not want to stand on the same stage with Ksenia Sobchak and Dmitry Gudkov, spoke sharply, said several NT interlocutors among the organizers. And since decisions were made by consensus, they eventually abandoned this idea.

But in the end, all the organizers were satisfied with the action. “Look at which sea of ​​people went to Nemtsov’s march today,” Yashin wrote in his microblog. - The demonstration filled almost all of the boulevard. It inspires that there were more of us today than a year ago. And the mood on the march is completely different: louder, tougher, bolder. ”

According to Gudkov, which he shared in the telegram channel, there were more participants than, the police said: “Many people, 20-30 thousand in the eye. Everyone is united: left, right, because the prison and the EE center are not disassembled. And in fact, it does not matter what views - only one thing remains: for or against Putin, for or against repression. ”
