The authorities, who at first decided to send the protesters to Polyustrovsky Park, later allowed to gather at the Finland Station.

Recently, the St. Petersburg opposition was infrequent to rally legally, with a stage and microphones. This time, people did not just come to Lenin Square at the Finland Station, but to the Hyde Park. This place was recently endowed with this place by the acting governor Alexander Beglov. The demonstrators held the flags of the movements “Spring”, “Free Ingria”, “Tea Club”, political parties “Yabloko” and “RPR-PANAS” (Nemtsov was its co-chair).

Musician Mikhail Novitsky performed his hit “Putin. Skis. Magadan ”, the crowd singled joyfully. “We gathered not only to honor Boris Nemtsov, but also to demand to investigate his murder,” Deputy Boris Vishnevsky opened the rally and declared a moment of silence.

Following Vishnevsky, his colleague in the Yabloko faction in the local parliament went out of the deputy Mikhail Amosov, who was talking about the future of the country and democratization and suddenly warned that he was going to say something unpopular. “Unfortunately, we cannot count that this group of comrades ( from power. - S. S. ) will send to the moon or to Magadan,” he said. - No one is waiting for them there. We need to learn how to put them under control. We must abandon the idea of ​​lustration. ” After these words, the audience began to whistle and shout: "Vali from the stage!" Amosov nevertheless continued:

“We must proceed from the slogan“ We will not forget, but forgive ”. But there are cases when you can’t forgive where there can be no compromise - this is the murder of Boris Nemtsov. ”

Vishnevsky did not shake the screaming on the rights of the presenter, but corrected his former one -party man, saying: “If in 1991 we had held a law on lustration, today we would live in another country.”

Following were representatives of opposition parties and political associations. Maxim Reznik (faction “Growth Party”) remembered how emotional Boris Nemtsov was. "He would be outraged by the abominations and meanness with which the power today pursues our future, our youth." The activist of the Vesna movement Artem Malikov spoke metaphorically: “The word is the only commander who can stop the war. And today this word is Boris! " Alexei Nikolaev from the Libertarian Party, who promised: “The Sun of Freedom will rush over Kamchatka, will not lag behind him, will fly over all Siberia and the Urals. It will pass over Europe and go over the Baltic Sea! ”

The security forces this time behaved quite correctly. After the rally, only a picket with the “No To Russian Fascism” poster and an activist who wrapped in the state flag of Ukraine attracted their attention. However, soon they left. A dozen auto -zaks stood idle.
