The Ministry of Justice has developed a new form for tracing debtors. Now there will be not only the name, but also the passport number

The Ministry of Justice has prepared a draft government decree on new forms of writ of execution, which are used by bailiffs to search for debtors.

Now such forms indicate the name, date and place of birth, place of residence, place of work (or date and place of registration of the individual entrepreneur) and individual taxpayer number. Now the Ministry of Justice has proposed to indicate one of the identifiers along with the basic data about the debtor:

• SNILS,
• TIN,
• series and number of the passport (identity card),
• series and number of driver's license,
• series and number of the vehicle registration certificate.

It is assumed that the new forms will begin to be used from 2021, and the transition period, when the old forms will also work, will last until the end of 2022.

• Now bailiffs use only the name and date of birth to search for debtors. This leads to the fact that they are trying to collect debts from full namesakes. Since 2018, an additional identifier of the debtor has been used in the traffic police fines system.
