Kuzbass: The ex-head of the district was convicted of introduction of emergency regime

In the Kemerovo region, the court sentenced the former head of the Novokuznetsk district to Yevgeny Manuzin for without legal grounds announced an emergency regime on the territory of the village of shooting, the press service of the regional investigative committee said on February 26.

According to the press service of the department, in 2015, Manuzin without legal grounds announced the emergency mode in the village of shooting. This made it possible to conclude a municipal contract with the contractor without holding the repairs of a high -voltage power line.

The payment of the contractor was made without checking the volume and quality of the work performed. The damage to the budget of the municipality amounted to more than 900 thousand rubles. During the investigation, in the expense of compensation for damage to the car and one of the apartments and an official in the amount of 4 million rubles, an arrest was seized.

The criminal case was instituted on the basis of the materials of the regional FSB. The court found Manuzin guilty under the article “Abuse of the official powers of the head of the local government” and sentenced him to a fine of 200 thousand rubles.
