An inspection by the Ministry of Culture found violations in security systems in four of Russia's largest museums

An inspection by the Ministry of Culture revealed security breaches in the four largest museums in Russia - the Hermitage, the Russian Museum, the A.S. Pushkin and the Historical Museum.

The identified violations, noted in the Ministry of Culture, arose due to shortcomings both in the museums themselves and in the divisions of the Russian Guard guarding them. In addition, the checks showed that the Ministry of Culture itself loosened control over security in museums.
