In Nizhny Novgorod, a memorial plaque was installed on the house of Boris Nemtsov

A memorial plaque to the first governor of the region, Boris Nemtsov, was erected in Nizhny Novgorod, the politician's son Anton Nemtsov said on his Facebook.

The plaque on the house where Nemtsov lived and worked in the 1990s was unveiled on February 27, 2019, on the fourth anniversary of the politician's death. A bas-relief depicting Nemtsov's profile is made on a marble board.

Anton Nemtsov sent a request for a memorial plaque in October 2018. The son of a politician offered to perpetuate the memory of his father on the territory of the Nizhny Novgorod Kremlin.

In March 2018, a plaque in memory of Boris Nemtsov was unveiled in Moscow at Malaya Ordynka 3, on the house where the politician lived until his death in 2015. A memorial plaque at Nemtsov's last address had been erected before, but the plaque was torn down by activists from the SERB movement. The board was officially opened only after the appeal of presidential candidate Ksenia Sobchak.

Recall that the politician Boris Nemtsov was killed on February 27, 2015 in Moscow on the Bolshoi Moskvoretsky Bridge near the Kremlin. The perpetrators of the murder received from 11 to 19 years in a strict regime colony. The assassin has not yet been found.
