Russian scientists suspended the payment of grants

The Russian Scientific Fund temporarily stopped paying grants by Russian scientists for research projects due to the fact that the government did not transfer budget money to the account. This was reported on the fund's website.

As stated on the fund's website, grants will begin to be paid when the money arrives in the account. Specific dates in the fund are not called.

According to Interfax, citing a letter from the head of the fund, Alexander Khlunov, necessary for the payment of grants, about 7.3 billion rubles will be transferred after the conclusion of the agreement between the fund and the Ministry of Education and Science.
