The bot was developed during a hackathon in the company's Israeli laboratory. For the most accurate search, it uses machine learning technologies. The patient, when launching the bot, must answer several questions related to the disease. The program then provides links to clinical trials that match his needs.

Although the bot was selected for the US Presidential Innovation Fellowship program, Microsoft has no plans to release it as its own product.
