On the night of March 2 in St. Petersburg, on the building where the local headquarters of Alexei Navalny is located, the inscription “headquarters of pedophiles” appeared, in the afternoon people with posters gathered near the headquarters. The slogans are written on them: “Children are in danger”, “Navalny protects perverts”, “Do not touch our children. Pedophiles on trial."
Those who gathered call themselves "indignant youth" and say that they do not know each other, reports "Mediazona" , noting that they were brought to the headquarters by the organizer, who then placed picketers in front of the building. Among them is Dmitry Myakshin, who previously received a suspended sentence for knocking out a tooth to a policeman during a protest on June 12, 2017 and announced his entry into the Young Guard of United Russia.
“Creative from Beglov. And this scarecrow wants to lead St. Petersburg,” Alexei Navalny commented on the incident on Twitter.
The picketers could not explain how they learned about the time and place of the action. They claim that they came to the headquarters simply by learning “about the incident itself” – probably, we are talking about a criminal case against an activist of the Vesna movement and his friend, Mediazona suggests.
On February 21, in St. Petersburg, an activist of the Vesna movement Vladimir Kazachenko and his friend Vadim Tishkin were arrested in connection with the depraved acts committed by a group of people. The latter is also charged with possession of drugs. Nevskiye Novosti published a video in which, presumably, one of the defendants in the case sniffs a powdered substance in front of an election poster of Alexei Navalny.
