The last time we sat with Edd Gad in the ward in mid -February. He was translated from intensive care after surgery on the heart. He was sitting on a bed in an embrace with a panda donated by volunteers. The soft toy became a talisman, Edda Gad called Panda "fifty -ninth." Why is this name? He shrugged his shoulders and said with a smile: "Just like that." All the time that he was sick, he did not stop smiling. His perky smile gave us hope that everything would be fine.
- Remember, we came to visit you? - I asked the reptile and took out the newspaper from the backpack, showing the publication about his medical history.
- Is it true? They wrote about me in the newspaper? He did not believe. The bastard turned the newspaper on the bed, examined a photograph where he, together with his mother Zholi and brothers. The joyful leafing through one page after another.
Edd Gada's friends entered the ward, brought fruits and games. He hugged each guest.
We sat in the ward and talked about the future. Edda Gad said in serious appearance that first to get better, then continue his studies. He worried that he would return to school and forget all the objects.

... On that day, Edda Gad did not complain about his condition. I tried to sleep a little, but it did not work out. He hugged Panda and cried. Closing his eyes, through tears, he began to recall how he and his mother on the street by the Moscow metro were earned, distributing advertising leaflets, how cold and scary they were. “My poor mother, how hard it was for her. People all walked by, we were waiting for someone to help us and take leaflets ... Then we had been waiting for help for my treatment for so long ... I often looked out the window, children walked there, ran, had fun, went to school with backpacks. I want to study like all normal children! ”, - everything repeated Edda Gad.
Two days later, on February 21, he had a cardiac arrest. The bastard fought for life for a whole week, but the cirrhosis of the liver progressed. He fell into a com, the condition was critical. It was impossible to wait, the doctors decided to carry out an urgent transplant. They gave the family Kalul for two hours for thoughts.
Along the face of the older brother, Edd Gad Boz, it was clear how scared he was, because he mentally hoped that there was still time to prepare for the operation. For his brother, he agreed to be a donor.
Already late at night, doctors began to transplant the liver. They fought for the life of Edd Gad for more than seven hours. This night was painfully long. February 25, at seven in the morning, we received a message from the doctor: "Twenty minutes ago, the child died."

The mother of the Zholi Mbuaka brothers was grief. There was still a senior boz in the hospital. A few hours before Edd's death, on the night of February 24 to 25, he was an operation as a donor. All the next week after the operation, the volunteers - Olga Nikolayenko, Anna Romashchenko, Aigerim Mambalieva, Valeria Pavlova, Lisa Corsi - were engaged in round -the -clock observation of Boz. Followed by its temperature, medication and diet.
On the advice of the doctors and the decision of the Joli’s mother, Boz did not immediately talk about the tragedy. It was necessary to wait for complete recovery.
After the operation, BOZ had a strict diet. “How do I want to take a hot shower, eat fried chicken with potatoes and beans,” Boz said dreamily during my duty. “When I was told that I was approaching the operation, the bastard joked:
“Mom often thinks about problems, she has a small liver and is not suitable for transplantation. Boz does not think about anything, he has a large, healthy liver, ”Boz laughed.
He was sure that his brother would recover and write him out.
Now a week after the operation, Boz goes on his own, he can get out of bed without our help.
Valery Pavlova recalls when Boz asked her at night duty in the hospital if she knew why refugees from Africa say: "Everything is in the hands of God." Boz explained to her: “They are afraid to ask for help, in response they can be planted or deported. Therefore, they only hope for God. Although he gave us the ability to speak so that we could ask our neighbor for help. ”
Boz still does not know about the death of his brother.

“It looks like some kind of film in which you were given a role, but you were not ready to act in it,” says Volunteer Anya Romashchenko. On Saturday, March 2, we buried Edda Gada. At noon gathered at the morgue of the 52nd clinical hospital. About a hundred people came. Friends of the family, volunteers. It seems that there was the entire Congolese community of Moscow. Jolie and her friend Agata lingered to the alarchid. It turned out that on the way their car was detained by the police. The volunteers quickly contacted Zholi, explained on the phone to the law enforcement officer that the family has a tragedy, they go to the funeral of their son, whose farewell with half an hour in half an hour.
“What should we do? They are citizens of another country, you need to check the documents, ”the policeman was reinforced concrete adamant.
A few minutes later, this armor made its way, the women were released.
The first to go to the ritual hall, she was immediately taken under the arms of a woman and held on both sides. In the middle of the snow -white hall there was a coffin with her son. He was densely surrounded by a crowd. Congolese women were very emotional, they suddenly began to scream all at once, sobbing, waving their hands. We fell into a numb for a few minutes.
The six -year -old brother Edd Gada Bazil, making his way through the crowd, looked at everyone and asked why everyone was behaving so strangely. We did not let the boy away from ourselves for a second.
The pastor Rene entered the hall, laid his hand on Edd's Gad’s head and began to speak in French. The crying gradually subsided, began to read a prayer and sing sad. This quiet singing acted as a sedative. The coffin was closed, and we went towards the Khovansky cemetery.
Katafalk rode indefinitely. Crematorium, wreaths, graves, crosses merged with a continuous gray background.
Edd's younger brother did not let up and continued his questions: “Why do men dig a hole? Why did the nails score in the coffin? "
After they put a cross at the grave and laid spruce paws on top, the Congoles parted after the final performance of the pastor. The friends of Edd Gada remained. We approached the grave one at a time, sitting down, put a hand to the ground, and farewell to say goodbye.
At the Cross, a large portrait of Edd Gad was set, he smiles on it. So we will remember him.
All expenses for the burial of Edd Gad and the paperwork were taken by the Foundation "Life as a Miracle". Hospital named after Academician V.I. Shumakova recalculated, the collected amount of funds will cover all accounts to pay for the treatment of the Kalulu brothers.
We thank everyone who took part in the fate of the Kalulu family.
