The persecution of Soviet power to the Russian Church was such that it was not to say about their faith, but even silently follow it as a feat. The new martyrs and confessors, glorified in the face of the saints did not come: believed, prayed and meekly went to their Calvarys.
“Polit.ru” recalls those who gave their lives for faith and by whose prayers the Russian Church is alive - even if almost nothing came to us besides the name.
Publications were prepared by Kirill Kharatyan (included by the Russian authorities in the register of foreign agents).
Holy Martyr Sergius Belokurov http://www.fond.ru/userfiles/person/263/full_1515763121.jpgIn 1919, Deacon Sergius was ordained a priest to the Trinity Church, but after ordination was drafted into the Red Army. O. Sergius began to petition for his liberation from military service, the visitors were supported by parishioners of the Trinity Church: Fr. Sergius is not only a priest, but also a good doctor. On July 19, 1920, the case was sorted out in court, and the court decided to satisfy the petition of the priest and residents of the village and, according to the decree on the separation of the church from the state, to free Priest Belokurov from military service with the provision of him simply to treat citizens of the village of Ramensky.
On February 17, 1938, the head of the Ramensky branch of the NKVD Elkonin interrogated the investigative man as a resident of Ramensky Savlov, who showed about the priest Sergius Belokurov: “I live in factory buildings and see the priest Belokurov in factory buildings almost daily. To whom he goes, I do not know ... I greeted him and asked: "Where were you visiting?" He answered me: “I was with my own,” but who did not say. Moreover, he added: “You have to hurry to live, because still if not today, then tomorrow the Soviet government will crush.” I answered him that this is nonsense, on the contrary, the Soviet government leads to a cheerful and joyful life. To this, he answered me: “They only tell you this; a good, joyful life in the Kremlin, Stalin will not give a good life a good life.”
February 22 about. Sergius is arrested.

This was the last interrogation, and the investigation was completed on this. On February 27, 1938, the Troika of the NKVD sentenced Father Sergius to be shot. Priest Sergiy Belokurov was shot on March 7, 1938 and buried in an unknown common grave at the Butovo training ground.
