Residents of hostels asked Putin to protect their rights

Residents of the hostels of Moscow and the Moscow Region came to the reception of the President of Russia with a letter to Vladimir Putin. They ask to protect their rights.

According to Radio Liberty correspondent, only in Moscow several dozen buildings, including the hostel of the Ministry of Defense, were sold to private owners. After that, they began to force the residents from hostels.

People themselves claim that they have been living at the current addresses for decades and that they have a registration and a social hiring agreement. In their opinion, new owners act illegally.
