Primorye: Doving Killers and Beluh wanted to sell them abroad
Killed
Two of the four companies engaged in capture braids and beluga, located in a “whale prison” in Primorye, admitted that they made animals by order of foreign oceanariums. They reported this in appeal to President Vladimir Putin, Interfax reported .
"Contracts for the supply of animals abroad were provided to state bodies at the stage of approval of work plans. Contracts have already been received under contracts, and animals are looking forward to the oceanariums, where even more comfortable conditions have been created for them," the director of Afalin, Alexei Reshetov, published in the telegram channel, said.
He notes that "the execution of the contract will help increase the prestige of Russian companies in the international sphere as reliable counterparties."
"... The adoption of an unreasonable decision on the transfer of animals to the state for subsequent issues may damage the treasury of the Russian Federation in hundreds of millions of US dollars," the director of state, director of the company "Oceanarium DV", Alexander Bronnikov.
He explains that there is a threat of claims from the owners of foreign oceanariums with concluded contracts for the supply of animals. They made a preliminary payment and incur significant losses from the fact that they did not receive animals. At the same time, in the event of a contract, the Oceanarium DV will increase the country's foreign trade balance by $ 15 million and pay about 200 million rubles of taxes.
Both leaders say that their companies and beluga were caught by their companies without violations of the law.
Killers and Beluh, who are in the "whale prison" in the average bay, will be moved to the center of maintenance of large marine animals after it warms up in Primorye. The center will be specially equipped in one of the bays of the island of Russian, decided at a meeting, which was held on March 5 by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian government Alexei Gordeev.
At the end of October, activists of the Greenpeace of Russia said that the average bay contains 11 cubs of red -hot braids and 90 belugs caught in Russian waters for illegal sale to China. The cost of one killer whale in dolphinaries and oceanariums in China is from 1 to 15 million dollars. Commercial mining of dolphins in Russia is prohibited by law. The Investigative Committee opened a criminal case on the illegal catch of mammals.
On February 21, it became known about the disappearance from the "whale prison" of the killer whale. The owners stated that the warehouse damaged the aviary and escaped. Ecologists exclude this opportunity. “This is impossible for the killer whale to sprinkle the fence itself, there are no such cases yet. It disappeared from enclosure No. 1, this is the only one where you can fit the upsurous crane from the pier. Therefore, we do not exclude that it was simply taken out by smuggling at night,” said Dmitry Lisitsyn Environmental Watch.
In December, investigators reported the disappearance of three beluga and referred to damaged networks. Ecologists said that the weakest and most exhausted cubs Beluh simply died due to conditions of content.
