Until April 1, there is an acceptance of applications for participation in the competition for the journalistic prize "Libmit.
The prize is awarded for the book on the current socio-political process (nomination “Analytics” ) and for a large cycle of substantive publications in the media (nomination “Publicity” ) issued during the premium cycle. Laureates receive a monetary reward in the amount of 250 thousand rubles.
This season of the award, publications made from February 1, 2018 to March 15, 2019 are nominated. Applications are accepted at premialibMissiya@gmail.com .
The jury of the award in 2019 includes:
- Denis Dragunsk , chairman of the jury, philologist, political scientist, journalist and writer;
- Alexander Arkhangelsky , historian, journalist, publicist and writer;
- Anna Kachkaeva , professor at the Faculty of Media, Communications and Design of the Higher School of Economics;
- Dmitry Oreshkin , journalist, political scientist, political geographer, analyst.
No later than May 18, the jury will complete the selection of prize winners, the award ceremony will be held on May 29 .
This year, the release of a series of videos of videos , in which scientists, writers, journalists and public figures, tells what the liberal mission of each of them is dedicated to the start of the prize season.

The Libmites Prize was established by the Liberal Mission Foundation in 2016 in order to attract the attention of society to scientists, popularizers, publicists who, with their work, contribute to analytical research and education of Russians and systematically clarify the current situation in Russia and the world.
Last year, in the Analytics nomination, the prize was received by sociologist Anna Shadrina for the book “Dear Children. Reducing the birth rate and the increase in the price of “motherhood” in the 21st century, in the nomination “Journalism” - philologist Andrei Desnitsky for a series of publications on the sites “Gazeta.ru”, “Tradition”, Republic , “Russian Pioneer” and “Hefter”, in the special nomination “For the courage in defending liberal values”, Jury noted the journalist Zoya Sveta For a series of publications on the sites "MBH. Media ”and“ Radio Liberty ”dedicated to people who are in conclusion.
