A ticket to life

There are people who live, living a calm and measured life, but there are those who have yet to get a ticket to life. And naturally, they want it to be a ticket to the Maldives or at worst to Turkey or Egypt, and not in a shabby rest house in the outback of Russia. Therefore, in recent years, schools have been turning into a race for them: classes with tutors and in courses, dragging for passing the exam, the Olympiad - everyone is sophisticated as they can, and how, of course, the purse of parents allows.

It helps to pull out a lottery ticket and the ability to submit documents to several universities at once. I won’t go there, but I’ll go here or I will choose. In general, bustle, vanity, vanity, excess load on all. It was not at all in the days of my youth: there was much more responsibility for the quality of training and the choice of a university. He submitted documents to the selected university, did not enter - go to serve in the army or go to work for the factory.

All professions were good; Both the army and the plant could give a decent ticket to life. At the factory, you could get a hostel, then a normal salary, and after a while the apartment. Of course, the apartments were not given to everyone at once, I had to wait, to be a waiting list, but it was not the same as now, when the purchase of an apartment for many is a pipe dream. And everything was fine with the vouchers: you could go to rest with your family to the factory boarding house on the Black Sea, and if you are lucky, even in Bulgaria or Romania.

The army also gave a completely normal ticket to life: officers and even more so the generals were respected and wealthy people.

What do we have now? The sea spilled universities are good and different, but mainly, of course, a low damage. It is not suitable for ensuring normal education and giving a ticket to life, but in order to allow young men to mow from the army and generally give the great age -cost baldmen of both sexes for several more years of carefree existence, so that they, as they say, could hang out.

You won’t find a good milling mill with fire now, but the country literally groans from the abundance of illiterate Equurraps and other, so to speak, “specialists” issued in the post -Soviet time. Do you think I'm exaggerating? So, according to Rosobrnadzor, 94% of university graduates are not able to work in their specialty due to the lack of necessary knowledge. Where is it good?!

Therefore, I closely follow the discussion about the possibility of changing the rules of admission to universities. At the end of last year, the Minister of Education Olga Vasilieva said that the previously existing system of admission to a single university forced applicants to more responsibly approach the choice of a future profession and a university, and preparation for admission to a pre -chosen university was more thought out aimed at achieving this goal. Therefore, you should return to such practice. The Minister of Science and Higher Education Mikhail Kotyukov already said this year that the issue is quite important, he needs to be studied and discussed very carefully.

And let many possible innovation scares it, but I fully support it: it is necessary to return to a well -tested old experience. Moreover, I believe that in principle, there is no need to produce spare airfields for baldbes, because they spend a lot of state money on them. It is necessary to carry out a capital stripping of higher education, eliminating not only the bred worthless branches of universities, but also universities that cannot give high -quality modern education.

Of course, colleagues, it is impossible to leave several dozen good universities in a large country. Each region should have at least one university, and preferably two, so that there is competition for applicants between them. Therefore, it is worth reducing the number of bred universities and academies to 200-300 pieces. Several dozen of them will be elite educational institutions focusing on the world level, the rest - with solid middle peasants that provide the needs of the regions. And to everyone who will not be able to enter these universities - the road to the army, to the factory, to the store. There they will be given a ticket corresponding to their talents. Let them protect their homeland and engage in productive labor, and do not sit on the neck of parents and the state!
