Mozilla launched Firefox Send file hosting with file encryption

A free service allows you to download files up to 1 GB and up to 2.5 GB in case of registration of account in Firefox. Developers emphasize the high level of protection of the loaded data: Firefox Send uses through (end-to-end) encryption, thanks to which only senders and recipients can access files. In addition, files can be additionally protected with password, as well as limit the download number or time of the link to download the file.

So far, the new service is available in the web version, but in the near future the developers will release the beta version of Firefox Send for Android. A small demonstration video shows the simplicity of working with the service.

Recall that in August last year, Mozilla presented a new extension for the Firefox browser, which can offer the user interesting articles based on an open page and a recent history of views. For example, if a user selects a film or restaurant, expansion can offer links of a web page with additional information. The results of the extension are displayed in the Firefox side panel.
