The Kuibyshevsky District Court of St. Petersburg fined Svetlana Utkina, an activist of Open Russia and a supporter of the Vesna movement, 75,000 rubles for a rally in support of Anastasia Shevchenko. This is reported in the telegram channel "Spring".
The court found Utkina guilty of repeated violation of the rules for holding the event (part 8 of article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). The activist was detained on February 9, when she and her associates deployed in support of Open Russia and Anastasia Shevchenko, who is being persecuted for participating in the activities of an “undesirable organization”.
On that day, Utkina and other activists were detained even before the start of the action, in order to take the girl to the department, the police had to stop the bus on which she was traveling. The activists were kept for several hours in the department and then released without protocol. In the evening they made a new banner and walked with it along a small section of Nevsky Prospekt.
The next day, Utkina was detained again, right before the start of the " March of Mother's Wrath ". She was taken to the 28th police department, where a protocol was drawn up under Part 8 of Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses. In total, eight participants of the march were detained in St. Petersburg.
