According to Agilyash Dilmukhametova, the activist's mother, the searches began in the morning. Seven people in masks burst into Dilmukhametov's apartment, who introduced themselves as employees of the FSB for Bashkortostan.

“At 9:30 in the morning they left and took Airat with them. As I was told, he was taken for interrogation to Krupskaya Street, where the building of the Federal Security Service in Bashkortostan is located. It was said that Airat was attracted for a specific performance that he recorded on the Internet in April, ”the woman said.

The publication reports that, according to unconfirmed reports, Dilmukhametov may become a defendant in a criminal case because of his public statements. A search was also held at the home of Dilmukhametov's associate, lawyer Vsevolod Lebedinsky.
