The Kuibyshevsky District Court of St. Petersburg sentenced to 24 years a maximum security colony of the alleged leader of the Tambov organized crime group Vladimir Barsukov (Kumarin), finding him guilty under part 1 of Article 210 of the Criminal Code (creation of an organized criminal community), the United press service of the city courts reported .

His accomplice Vyacheslav Drokov was sentenced to 21 years in a colony. As the press service clarifies, the defendants were appointed 12 years in the colony, but in conjunction with the previous punishment, the court appointed 24 and 21 years of imprisonment.

The court also appointed everyone a fine of 1 million rubles.

According to investigators, the group, which was led by Barsukov, was engaged in raider seizures in St. Petersburg. In particular, among these objects were the “Petersburg oil terminal”, the Krupskaya confectionery factory, the St. Petersburg Hotel and the company of playful wine. The defendants denied guilt.

In 2016, Barsukova and Drokov were convicted of an attempt on the co -owner of the Petersburg Oil Terminal company Sergei Vasiliev. Then the court appointed Barsukov 23 years in colony, and Drokov - 20.
