In Tula, a member of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation was detained for leaflets about a rally against a new landfill

In Tula, the police detained the secretary of the regional committee of the Communist Party and the editor-in-chief of Tulskaya Pravda, Mikhail Fedorov. This was reported to OVD-Info in the Tula regional committee of the party.

Fedorov handed out leaflets about an agreed March 23 rally against the construction of a new landfill and against the increase in tariffs due to the garbage reform. He stood at the checkpoint of the Tula arms factory on Kazanskaya embankment. The man is the organizer of the action.

“The police were already on duty at the plant. My comrades told me that there are also police officers at other factories, ”Fyodorov told OVD-Info.

The activist was taken to the Central Police Department, but it is not known what status he is in. “Employees say that if I talk on the phone, this will be an obstacle to the police. If I talk in the toilet, they threaten to break down the door,” Fedorov reports.

Leaflets about the upcoming rally were taken for examination. They want to take an explanation from a member of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, and, probably, inspect it, because the police are looking for witnesses.
