Putin found the acting head of Altai in Glonass

Oleg Khorokhordin appointed acting governor of the Altai Republic. He heads the Council of Non -Profit Partnership "GLONASS".

Khorokhordin was appointed March 20, the Kremlin press service said.

“To accept the resignation of the head of the Republic of Altai Berdnikov A.V. of his own free will,” the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin said also.

Khorokhordin was born in the village of Glushinka of the Altai Territory. He graduated from the Altai Academy of Economics and Law. Until the early 2000s, he worked at various enterprises of the region, headed the Altayenergostroy trading house.

In 2006, he moved to the administration of the President of the Russian Federation on domestic politics. Alexander Berdnikov was born on April 8, 1953 in Gorno-Altaysk. He graduated from Altai State University. He worked in a furniture factory, then became a district police officer. For a long time he served on a criminal investigation department, in 1983-1990 he headed the police department of the Maiminsky district executive committee of the Altai Mountain. Then he worked in the Republican Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, in 1993 he became the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Altai Republic.

In 2002, Berdnikov was appointed chief federal inspector in the Altai Territory and the Altai Republic, in March 2003 he became the chief federal inspector in the Altai Territory.

In 2005, Russian President Vladimir Putin offered Berdnikov to the post of head of the Altai Republic, and approved the regional parliament. He was reassembled in 2009, and in 2014, Berdnikov won the elections with the support of EP in the first round, gaining 50.63% of the vote against 36.44% from the former first deputy prime minister of the republic, influential local politician Vladimir Petrov.
