The Tagansky organized crime group began its violent activity in the early 90s and, unlike many other gangster groups, was not defeated even in the 2000s. The reports of the FSB and the Investigative Committee also said that "a number of accomplices, including two killers, were detained." But neither the names of the suspects, nor the name of the organized crime group, the security forces have yet been voiced.

We take the courage to assume that we are talking about the organized crime group "Tagansky", which was born in the early 90s and preserved to this day. In any case, the name of this particular organized crime group in recent years has been heard and even mentioned in a number of court hearings.

The Tagansky organized crime group is more than once mentioned in the minutes of the court hearing, held on January 23 this year, when the court considered the investigation of the arrest of Igor Zhirnokleev. At the very beginning of the meeting, the investigator of the TFR Major Alexander Kamashev read out the FSB operational certificate. The lawyer of the suspect Mark Kaverzin tried to object in the sense that the document does not have concrete evidence of his client’s involvement in the Tagansky organized crime group, but Major Kamashev retorted the arguments of the defender: the Zhirnokleev’s operational development materials are still classified, but the document should be signed by a specific FSB officer, an official who does not have any reason.

Other evidence was also investigated, from which it followed that Zhirkhnokleev could be involved in the organization of the murder of the General Director of Rospishcheprom, Valery Zhuravlev. The businessman was killed 11 years ago, on February 6, 2008. Shortly before the murder, Zhuravlev appealed to the Ministry of Internal Affairs with a statement on the raider seizure of the building of OJSC Rospishcheprom, located at the address of Tverskaya-Yamskaya, 18/3.

Today, the investigation has the testimony of witnesses voiced on January 23 during the court hearing in the Basmanny court, who give investigators the grounds to suspect Zhirnokleev of organizing the murder of Zhuravlev. On March 20, the same Basmanny Court extended the arrest of Zhirnokleev for another two months.

In a copy of this document, it is written that in 1976-1977, a man named Zhirnokleev allegedly served in military unit 54607. This is the 16th separate brigade of GRU special forces. Probably, Zhirkolkleev was an intelligent special forces, since, based on the content of the “track record”, immediately after the training he was appointed commander of the department. Further, the “Subject Card” describes a career of a person named Zhirkhnokleev:
