Kamchatka: The court decided to liquidate the bank

The Arbitration Court of the Kamchatka Territory, at the request of the Central Bank of Russia, decided to liquidate the public joint -stock company Kamchatkomagroprombank. This was reported on the court website .

Since the value of the bank’s assets exceeds the amount of its obligations by 15 million rubles, the court did not see the grounds for recognizing a credit institution from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky bankrupt. As a result, the court granted a lawsuit for the forced liquidation of the bank. The State Corporation of the Deposit Insurance Agency was appointed the liquidator of Kamchatkomagropombank. In terms of assets at the beginning of the year, the bank occupied 297th place in the banking system of Russia.

At the end of January, the Central Bank of Russia withdrew a license to carry out banking operations at Kamchatkomagroprombank. By order of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation, from January 31, the bank from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky was deprived of the right to work in the securities market and engage in banking activities.

The Central Bank explained his decision by the presence of a real threat to the interests of depositors and creditors of Kamchatkomagroprombank. The regulator recalled that in relation to this bank, during the year I had to "take measures" more than once.
