The Ingush opposition called the rally against the border agreement with Chechnya unlimited

The co-chairman of the World Congress of the Ingush People, Mussa Malsagov, declared the rally that began on March 26 in the capital of the republic, Magas, to be indefinite, reports . Kommersant

As reported by the opposition Ingush resource FortangaOrg, speakers at the rally “harshly criticized the authorities of Ingushetia” and demanded the resignation of the head of the republic, Yunus-Bek Yevkurov, as well as the dissolution of the local parliament.

Chechnya and Ingushetia signed an agreement on establishing an administrative border on September 26, 2018. Despite protests from residents of Ingushetia, the Russian Constitutional Court declared it legal.

The rally in Magas, coordinated with the authorities, began on March 26. Its participants have already complained that telecom operators have turned off mobile Internet in the area where the protest is taking place.
