Trans -Baikal Territory: Two ministers are dismissed

In the Trans -Baikal Territory, two ministers were fired at once. This was reported today in the administration of the regional government.

Anatoly Romanov was dismissed from the post of Minister of Natural Resources of Transbaikalia, and Andrei Fedotov left the post of Minister of Labor and Social Protection, the government’s press service said. Both officials left of their own free will.

The head of Transbaikalia, Alexander Osipov, signed an order to dismiss them from his position from today, March 26.

Zaur Appoev will fulfill the duties of the Minister of Natural Resources. The successor of the former Minister of Social Protection Fedotov is still unknown.

In January, the acting governor Transbaikalia, due to the mass complaints of Transbaikalsev for non-payment of compensation to the victims of the flood in July 2018, instructed officials to check the work of the commissions. A month earlier, the Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the region Andrei Fedotov said that almost 1.5 thousand residents of Transbaikalia, who suffered from the July flood, have not yet paid compensation due to lack of money that was not transferred "from the federal level".
