Putin fired the prosecutor of Karachay-Cherkessia

The prosecutor of Karachay-Cherkessia Alexander Tereshchenko and two transport prosecutors lost their posts, the press service of the General Prosecutor's Office of the Russian Federation said.

“Russian President Vladimir Putin dismissed from the posts of the prosecutor of the Karachay-Cherkess Republic of Tereshchenko Alexander Vasilievich, the Far Eastern transport prosecutor Khatuntsev Alexander Nikolaevich and the northwestern transport prosecutor Oleg Akindinovich Kolesov,” the report said.

In addition, the president appointed prosecutors of the Altai Territory and the Ryazan region Alexander Rudnev and Ivan Panchenko, respectively. Both are appointed for a period of five years.
