"The house has 60 apartments, most of them are empty for several years. The homeless entered 4-room apartments on the first floors. In the end, in addition to leaking roofs and cracks in the walls, garbage, bottles, smell appeared in the entrance. Some moved to other places, and we have nowhere to run," quotes one of the families of the village of Zabtv TV.

In April 2014, a natural fire, despite attempts to extinguish local rescuers and the military, overcame several kilometers and went to the village of Bolshaya Tour. When the fire was taken away from the village, the wind changed the direction towards the military unit and intensified to 30 meters per second. As a result, the fire moved to Verkhova, an hour later the fire reached warehouses with ammunition of the military unit, where several explosions occurred. As a result of the tragedy, 10 people died, about 30 - wounded, the village was almost completely destroyed.
