On Magadan, veterans for the first time in nine years raised payment by May 9

The Government of the Magadan region published an order of Governor of Kolyma on a one -time payment for the celebration of Victory Day in the Great Patriotic War. For the first time since 2010, the payment of the veteran was increased.

Disabled and participants in the WWII and the War with Japan will receive 22,000 rubles, instead of the usual 20,000 rubles. The rest of the categories: participants in the war, awarded the “resident of the besieged Leningrad”, the widows of the dead and dead disabled people and participants in the war, prisoners of concentration camps, rear workers and persons awarded orders or medals will give 5,000 rubles each. In past years, this payment amounted to 4,000 rubles.
