In December, a criminal case of falsification of the protocol and substitution of material evidence, seized in the case of the torture of Marina Ruzaeva in the police department, was opened at the Lysykh investigator from the city of Usolye-Sibirsky. According to human rights defenders, investigators replaced the Ruzaeva coat-gun, in which the victim was taken to the police and tortured with a shocker. According to human rights activists, now half of the testimony collected by the Angarsk investigator from the Ruzaeva case “thrown away”, the stun gun and handcuffs were never seized, and Marina's down jacket, through which the police burned her with a shocker, cannot be included in the case file.
