In Yakutsk on April 4, employees of the Investigative Committee conducted a search at the work and apartment of robotics teacher Anton Ammosov, reports OVD-Info with reference to Ammosov himself.
According to the teacher, six department employees came to him at six in the morning and showed him the ruling of the Basmanny Court of Moscow. The employees claimed that he was in correspondence with Mikhail Zhlobitsky, who blew himself up in the reception building of the Arkhangelsk FSB department.
During a search of Ammosov’s house, security forces seized two computers, three phones, a flash drive, and a hard drive. After the search, the teacher was brought for questioning to the Investigative Committee, where they asked whether he knew Zhlobitsky, whether he had communicated with him and whether he supported his views. Now Ammosov is in the status of a witness.
He clarified to Mediazona that this is the second time that security forces have come to search him. This first happened on November 21, 2018, when FSB officers seized equipment from the North-Eastern Federal University, where Ammosov worked at that time. According to him, security forces kidnapped and tortured him, demanding to know his phone password.
This is not the first search in the case of an explosion in the Arkhangelsk FSB department. According to estimates , investigative actions took place in at least six cities: Chelyabinsk, Murmansk, Penza, Kirov, Khabarovsk and Moscow. OVD-Info
In the fall of 2018, 17-year-old college student Mikhail Zhlobitsky detonated an improvised explosive device in the reception area of the Arkhangelsk FSB department. As a result, the teenager himself died, and three security forces were injured. The Investigative Committee opened a case of terrorism (Article 205 of the Criminal Code). In addition, cases were opened against two anarchists, who, according to investigators, called the perpetrator of the terrorist attack a hero, for justifying terrorism on the Internet (Part 2 of Article 205.2 of the Criminal Code).
